I am an eLearning Developer. And I love creating multimedia!
I received my MS in Instructional Design & Technology from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. My BA is in Choral Music Education from BYU in Provo, UT.
I have been working in media production for well over 10 years. I began by building a portable recording studio that I took to public schools to record their musical groups. I continued working in recording and also graphic design while I finished my undergrad. After graduating I secured a position as the director of a music school. But my path in music ed was short lived as I soon found myself back in media working as the Director of Operations and Producer for a nationally syndicated radio program. Radio production and sound design was my full-time love for almost 10 years. For part of those years I had the unique opportunity of creating and designing an all new internet radio station that became the most listened-to inspirational station in the America. During these years I also worked in graphic design and video production.
When I discovered the Instructional Design/eLearning Development field I quickly jumped on-board. I could see how all my experience and talents working in media production could couple perfectly with my college experience in education. It thrills me to use technology as the foundation of creating effective, efficient and engaging instructional experiences.
